Bristol in Conversation: Stories from the Stage

6 June 2025, 6.00 PM - 6 June 2025, 9.00 PM

Arts Complex, 7 Woodland Road, BS8 1TB

The stage is set; the lights are down. A familiar tale is about to unfold, one that audiences have seen and adored for centuries. What is it about retellings that we find so compelling? How are today’s artists presenting old stories in new ways? And what are the leading voices in modern theatre doing to inspire the next generation?

Bristol in Conversation returns for another inspiring panel discussion with University of Bristol alumni and experts as they explore new and emerging ideas in contemporary theatre.

This year, we are delighted to welcome the following members of the University community to the stage:

Following the discussion, guests will be invited to carry on the conversation over refreshments, connect with members of the panel and explore a selection of treasures from the University of Bristol Theatre Collection.
