Partnership Event: The Midlands Branch Trip to Harvington Hall

We are pleased to share that the Midlands Branch are visiting Harvington Hall, Worcestershire, on Saturday 28 September from 12 pm, and all alumni are welcome.
Join the Midlands Branch at noon for lunch at The Malt House, the on-site coffee shop, before a guided tour of the fascinating moated manor house from 2 pm to 3:15 pm. Founded in the Middle Ages, the building is mostly Elizabethan.
On the tour, you will uncover the Hall’s intriguing history that is full of secrets, as it played an important role in the history of English Catholics in the later Sixteenth Century; for them, and particularly for Catholic priests, it was a refuge, concealing no fewer than seven priest holes, some of them probably built by master craftsman Nicholas Owen. The house also has an impressive collection of rare Elizabethan wall paintings.
Tickets
Tickets for the guided tour are £10 per person for groups of 15 or more, or £12.50 per person for smaller groups. Lunch is to be paid for individually on the day.
