Partnership Event: CathSoc 60th Anniversary Weekend

We are delighted to announce the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the consecration of the University of Bristol Catholic Chaplaincy. CathSoc are also pleased to share that the Chaplaincy has recently undergone a refurbishment and are offering alumni the opportunity to visit and reconnect.  

Memory Collection
Even if you can’t attend this event, CathSoc are creating a book that holds the memories and events that have happened in the past 60 years of the Chaplaincy.

Event Schedule 

Day 1: Friday 6th September: 

Evening gathering and drinks at The Albion pub in Clifton Village (BS8 4AA) from 8 pm.  

Day 2 (Main Event) Saturday 7th September:  

Mass at the Chapel at 12 pm followed by a buffet meal prepared by a professional catering team. There will be a chance to explore parts of the renovated Chaplaincy, however, please be mindful that there are still current students residing so some rooms will be unable to view.  

This event will be black tie

Day 3: Sunday 8th September: 

A chance to reflect over the weekend and say a final farewell to friends old and new over brunch at 10:30 am at No.1 Harbourside.
