- Lifetime AchievementProfessor Dame Julia Slingo FRS OBE (BSc 1973, PhD 1989, Hon DSc 2010) for a lifetime of research excellence and breaking the glass ceiling in the world of climate science.
- Achievement in SportHannah Mills OBE (DipHE 2012), the most successful female sailor in Olympic history who uses her achievements to fight for cleaner oceans.
- Arts and MediaDr Katya Adler (BA 1995, Hon LLD 2017), BBC's Europe Editor since 2014 and a household name thanks to her award-winning coverage of the Brexit referendum.
- Business and IndustryEldar Tuvey (BSc 1992) and Roy Tuvey (BSc 1996), founders of hugely successful cybersecurity companies, including Wandera and Scansafe. They are currently co-founders and CEOs of Vertice, a SaaS purchasing platform.
- Community Engagement and ImpactBen England BEM (BA 1998) created two online global choirs called Homechoir and Choir of the Earth during the COVID-19 lockdowns. The choirs continue to connect music lovers to this day.
- Innovation and EnterpriseDr Neciah Dorh (BEng 2012, PhD 2016) and Josephine Dorh (BEng 2012) founded the Bristol-based company FluoretiQ which is developing rapid diagnostic tools which are crucial in the fight against antimicrobial resistance.
- Global ImpactDr Sarah Fane OBE (MBChB 1989, Hon 2022) changed the lives of thousands of Afghans through her work as a doctor and through her charity, Afghan Connection.
- Transformative PhilanthropyJames Alexandroff (LLB 1979) enabled the University to establish the Perivoli Africa Research Centre (PARC) which is committed to championing transformation in research and partnership to advance Africa's achievement of its own aspirations.
- Vice-Chancellor's AwardSophie Pender (BA 2017) is the founder and chief executive of The 93% Club, which aims to close the social mobility gap in universities by addressing the inequalities state school students face. She is also a corporate lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills.
