Language requirements and support
If English is not your first language you will need a language qualification to be accepted onto our courses.

Pre-Sessional English language courses
The University has a Language Centre with summer courses in English Language to prepare you for both postgraduate and undergraduate study. They will help improve your English before courses start in September/October.
International Foundation Programme
Our International Foundation Programme runs for one year and aims to prepare you for both the academic and English requirements of our undergraduate courses.
Support during your degree
We understand that the transition to an English-speaking university can be challenging. Throughout your degree we can support you with your academic English, academic literacy and critical development.
Scholarships and funding
The university provides a range of international scholarships, some of which cover up to 100% of tuition fees.
