Accommodation Portal Help

Get support with registering for, accessing and using the Accommodation Portal.

Register for the portal

Check that you have:

  • used the correct University of Bristol student number
  • used the same email address you used when you applied for University
  • not included spaces at the end of your username or password.

If you have still not received an email within one hour of submitting your details, email student-accommodation@bristol.ac.uk

The activation link in your email may not work because:

  • it expires after one hour
  • you may have submitted your details more than once in a short period
  • the activation link only works once. If you use it and then exit the browser without completing the login details, you will need a new link.

To generate a new activation link, wait at least two hours from the original email. Then enter your details again.

If you have not received an email, you can still register on the Accommodation Portal.

To register:

  • visit the register for the Accommodation Portal page
  • enter your University of Bristol student number
  • enter your email address. This must be the same email address you used when you applied the University.

If you do not have this information, contact student-accommodation@bristol.ac.uk

Access your account

When you try to log in, make sure you:

  • used the correct username. This is the same email address used when you registered your account
  • used the correct student number. This is in your ‘Invitation to register’ email
  • do not put any spaces before or after your username and password.

If you still get an error message, email student-accommodation@bristol.ac.uk.

You can use the forgot password page to rest your password.

Make sure you enter the same email address you registered with.

If you do not receive the rest password email, contact student-accommodation@bristol.ac.uk.

You will be locked out from your account after a few failed attempts of trying to log in.

If this happens, use the forgot password page to reset your password and log in.

If you do not receive the rest password email, contact student-accommodation@bristol.ac.uk.
