| Welcome to the UBMC web pages. The UBMC
is a friendly student club for mountaineers and climbers of all persuasions
- from rock to ice and back again. We meet up for drinks once a week
during term time and also on Wednesday afternoons at the Undercover Rock
climbing wall. The club runs regular weekend climbing trips during
the first two terms to various climbing venues, including Pembroke, the
Peak District, North Wales and Cornwall, amongst others. We also run
trips further afield, usually winter mountaineering in Scotland, and
the Alps in summer.
