The courts
	Often people with learning difficulties do not get justice in courts. It is sometimes hard to understand what is going on. It can be hard to get people to believe what you say.

Things to do

• Visit your local court and find out what happens there.
• Practise remembering things and telling people what happened.This is called giving evidence.
• Act out a courtroom scene.
• Practise saying the oath. That means promising to tell the truth.
