Introduction
The department has constructed a number of datasets for EXCEL (.xls files) and ACCESS (.mdb files), all of which are located in the directory:

D:\teaching\it97\data

on the PCs in the two Faculty of Arts Computer Laboratories.

The file eshindex.xls should be consulted both for a listing of the department’s datasets and for details of the sources from which they derive.
