Academic and business travel is an essential part of University life, and key to growing our global reach and impact.
But travel by staff and students for work and study also accounts for a significant share of the University’s overall environmental footprint.
And as the University builds its connections and relationships around the world, so our use of air travel in particular has grown.
That’s why we’re developing a new strategy to manage the impacts of academic and business travel, while still supporting the University’s drive to internationalisation.
