As part of the 75th anniversary celebrations, the Department of
Theatre presents a new exhibition of images of student productions.
From Medieval plays, performed in historic sites, to experimental
devised performance, from contemporary British theatre to
reworkings of European classics, the new prints represent the wide
range of practical theatre and performance taught as part of the
curriculum over the decades. Taken from original production
photographs held in the Theatre Collection archives, this exhibition
evidences the energy and creativity, the seriousness and fun, with
which students, production tutors and academics have explored
their passions and developed their skills as theatre-makers.
