We are committed to being green and have undertaken a range of initiatives and embedded sustainability into our everday working practices. We take part in the Green Impact scheme and have previously achieved a gold award for our efforts.

We try to:

• Recycle as much as possible
• Make sustainable procurement choices including choosing Fairtrade products as standard and recycled Archival standard boxes when possible
• Encourage staff and visitors to make green travel choices wherever possible

As well as implementing the University's standard Sustainability Policy, we have developed and implemented our own Environmental Sustainability Policy Statement: 2020-2024 (PDF, 706kB) and Environmental Sustainability Plan 2020-2024 (PDF, 469kB)

We encourage all visitors to travel by a sustainable mode of transport when travelling to the University for meetings or conferences.
