Let your sport be about more than who gets picked for the team, more than about who wins. Let it be about the joy of playing, learning a new skill, meeting new people, getting active and having fun.
The University offers a range of sporting opportunities for staff and students. Coaching courses are regularly delivered at the University's sports facilities to give you the chance to learn a new sport, improve your skills and meet new people. So if you've always wanted to try trampoline, have a bash at badminton or start again with swimming, you can. Courses run for 6 weeks, one session per week.
But what if the activity for you isn't currently offered? Sport, Exercise and Health would like to hear from all members of the University community with ideas for activities and sporting aspirations. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with comments and suggestions.
To go on the mailing list for course details please email email@example.com
Thanks to a moveable bulkhead the University swimming pool is able to offer a diverse range of swimming lessons for adults and children, from the complete beginner, to those who require more specific skills, such as stroke technique.
