SciVal research intelligence

The University uses SciVal to provide research management information and business intelligence. Scival uses data from Scopus, a bibliographic database.

The University has a campus-wide licence for Scival and Scopus.  All University members can use these systems from within the campus (or while using Remote Desktop or similar).

We are currently developing a small number of related web-based user guides, the first of which is an Scopus author profile refinement guide which explains how authors can ensure they get full credit for their work in Scopus and SciVal.

Users can find out more about requesting changes and corrections to Scopus data. This includes adding missing documents, making detailed corrections, merging documents etc.
