Welcome to the EOS website

This project has been completed. To view the main output from the study, visit the 'Women's experiences of Domestic Violence and Abuse' web pages on socialcaretalk.org.

These pages contain information for members of the public, charities and professional agencies who are interested in the EOS study (Experiences of survivors of domestic violence and abuse: Hearing women’s voices).

We have now interviewed 40 women who have experienced domestic violence or abuse (current or historic) and recruitment has now closed.

Thank you to all those who came forward to tell their story.

We will post updates of the study findings on the website.  Please continue to use the website for information.

Through this research we hope to increase the attention given to women’s voices, with the aim of improving support and service provision. The findings of the interviews will be used to develop an on-line information resource about women’s experiences, as part of the socialcaretalk.org website. This will provide information and support for other women and will also be used to help train health and social care professionals.

The project is funded by the National Institute for Health Research.
