The British Thoracic Society Grand Challenge lecture was delivered by BPI Director, Professor David Gordon, entitled Child Poverty and Health Inequalities.

This talk stimulated participants' thoughts about the problem of child poverty and health inequalities and how this relates to their day to day clinical work. There were an impressive 1,620 people in the virtual audience, made up of mostly thoracic clinicians in the UK.
