In this edition, 

• We have much to celebrate over the past 6 months. Including Patrick Moore being shortlisted for the Bristol All-Star Award 2023, Yuri Hamashima completing her PhD and a HSRUK Future Leasders Award for Joel Glynn
• Elsa Marques has begun co-leading her multimillion-pound research project which will inform decion making in hip replacement surgery. 
• We report on several research finding including hip fracture, breast reconstruction, PSA testing and BMI rules to govern access to hip fracture surgery, amongst others.
