Disabled visitors

Prior to the day

We are keen to ensure that your open day experience is as enjoyable as possible. If you need support to attend any open day activities, please complete the appropriate section on the booking form. We need as much notice as possible to assess and arrange provision where required.

If necessary, we will contact you to discuss how we can support you. Although we cannot guarantee any particular support arrangements, especially if we are told at short notice, we will endeavour to meet your needs.

Please let us know on the booking form if you or any of your party have restricted mobility and would find a disabled parking space on campus helpful. A parking permit is required for access through our road closures to these parking spaces. We will contact you to arrange for you to be sent a permit.

We will also supply details of accessible student accommodation that will be open for you to visit.

If you make your booking in the week leading up to the open day, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide you with support or a parking permit. Due to the short notice, we will only contact you if we can provide you with the support requested. 

On the day

The University's Disability Services will be exhibiting as part of the Student Services stand at the open day exhibition. Staff will be on hand to answer your queries and provide information about the support available for students at Bristol.

Accessible entrances

Most University buildings have good access for wheelchair users. A small number of buildings have an accessible entrance at a different location to the main entrance. You can find information about access to University buildings you plan to visit via the DisabledGO website.

Booking for 2017 open days

Book now for our open day on Saturday 9 September 2017. Please note the booking form will close on Tuesday 5 September at 5pm.

Undergraduate prospectus

Copies of the undergraduate prospectus will be available at the open day exhibition in the Wills Memorial Building.
