Dr Ann Pullen and Dr Gus Cameron from the University of Bristol’s Faculty of Biomedical Sciences have been made Senior Fellows of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) in recognition of their established record in teaching and learning.

Drs Pullen (School of Cellular and Molecular Medicine) and Cameron (School of Biochemistry) have both completed the Level 3 experienced route of the CREATE programme, which is accredited by the HEA, demonstrating a thorough understanding of effective approaches to teaching and learning support as a key contribution to high-quality student learning. They join Dr Kelly Moule (School of Biochemistry) who successfully completed Level 3 and was made a Senior Fellow last year. Dr Moule also won two accolades in the 2015 Bristol Teaching Awards.

Professor George Banting, Dean of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, said: ‘Many congratulations to Ann and Gus; both have shown a sustained record of effectiveness and leadership in teaching and learning and fully deserve this recognition.’
