Bristol offers research ‘tasters’ for practising vets

2 February 2015

The School of Veterinary Science, in association with the University’s Elizabeth Blackwell Institute, is offering veterinary clinicians an opportunity to spend six months doing research in Bristol’s medical labs.

These research ‘tasters’ are designed to provide practising vets with experience of working full-time in a research environment, and to inspire them to consider a career in research. Participants in the scheme are able subsequently to apply for PhD funding from bodies such as the Wellcome Trust.

Details of the Clinical Veterinary Primer Scheme are available on the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute’s news pages
