Come along to this fascinating and interactive panel and performance at Watershed to confront the key ethical, creative and human dilemmas of the future of poetry and art with the development of AI. For this new project Page Against the Machine, poets have been paired with technology experts and researchers to write poetry against, and in collaboration with, advanced AI. The different versions of these poems will be read aloud, with the audience guessing which ones were written by the poet, by the AI, and in collaboration with AI. There will be a discussion and Q&A with acclaimed poet Deanna Rodger, Lyra’s 2024 Festival Poet Shakara, and voices at the forefront of AI and creativity.
