Emily Wright

Emily Wright has a BMus from Cardiff University and PGDip in jazz performance from The Royal Welsh College of Music And Drama where she studied with Keith Tippett and Iain Ballamy. As the leader of contemporary jazz quintet Moonlight Saving Time, Emily’s work is regularly broadcasted on JazzFM and she has performed live for BBC Radio 3 and BBC 6 Music. Described as “brilliant new British jazz” the band are set to release their new album produced by Ben Lamdin and featuring Jason Yarde in October.

Emily has performed at many of the major venues and jazz festivals across the UK including sell out shows at Pizza Express Jazz Club, The 606 and St Georges Bristol, and London, Manchester, Brecon and Glastonbury Festivals.

Emily also runs a life coaching practice working specifically with people within the creative arts industries looking to progress in their careers.
