Voice

Angela studied violin and singing at the Guildhall School of Music and joined Glyndebourne Festival Opera on graduation. She appeared as a principal soloist with all the major British opera companies and many abroad, as well as performing regularly on the concert platform.

The vocal technique Angela teaches is based on Italian vowel sounds, correct breathing and posture and abdominal support for the voice, emphasising correct pronunciation and use of the text in Italian, French and German.

Angela teaches all types of voices and offers specialist help with entry to post-graduate courses at Conservatoires. With her own studio, she gives special coaching in preparation for auditions and has facilities for recording and production of audition CDs. Career development guidance is available for those wishing to become professional singers.
