Weekly faith events

Each week during term time, our chaplains host a wide range of events and activities, from discussion groups to socials. These are all a great opportunity to meet new people and connect with the Chaplaincy.

Friday

End of Week Prayer

1:20-2pm; see below for student and staff times.

Bring an end to the working week with a quiet reflective time of prayer.

We will quietly review our week, harnessing the power of gratitude as we become mindful of activities, encounters and moments for which we are thankful.

This will be followed by an invitation to reflect on aspects of the week that haven't been so easy including challenges, upsets and struggles. These might be personal or may be related to events in the world around us. We will then be invited to respond by laying down these challenges or offering them to God in prayer.

This prayer time is led from a Christian perspective but aims to be accessible to people of all faiths and none.

When
Every Friday; 1:20-2pm

Where
The Quiet Room, Multifaith Chaplaincy

Who
Open to all staff and students.

Led by Sam Hackett (Free Church Chaplain).
