What is your general research area?

Epigenetic Epidemiology - improving our understanding of the role of epigenetic processes in disease and development using population-based approaches.

What is special about our WT programme?

I think that the blend of disciplines and the wide variety of opportunities to tailor a PhD to the interests of the student is very special. The collaborative approach to supervision through mini-project rotations and co-supervision of students means that they get a broad exposure to different academic staff and expertise which is also very valuable.

Why do you contribute to this PhD programme?

I am enthusiastically committed to helping researchers navigate their way into and through an academic career (or on to other career paths), which can be both very challenging and very rewarding. It is a privilege to work with inspiring young researchers.
