Following this I became a Senior Educational Psychologist in Islington.

After 14 years as an Educational Psychologist I was appointed as a Senior Lecturer (special educational needs), later becoming head of the Psychology Department at Bath Spa University.

I joined the Graduate School of Education in 2000.
