Biography After teaching in a primary school in south east London, I worked as an Educational Psychologist in Manchester. I then returned to London, taking up a post as an associate tutor on the Educational Psychology Professional Training course at University College, London. Following this I became a Senior Educational Psychologist in Islington. After 14 years as an Educational Psychologist I was appointed as a Senior Lecturer (special educational needs), later becoming head of the Psychology Department at Bath Spa University. I joined the Graduate School of Education in 2000.
