Areas of expertise I have worked on a range of projects relating to gender and violence over the past 15 years, most notably in relation to domestic violence and health. I am currently working on a number of projects including: Evaluation of a Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme; Study of the prevalence and service use/needs of male, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and black and minority ethnic victims of domestic and sexual violence; impact of violence against women on rural and urban women; study on the impact of violence on the needs of military families; and an evaluation of the Freedom Programme. Emma previously worked as a researcher with the Centre for Ethics in Medicine, and is the Chair of the School for Policy Studies Ethics Committee.
