| Areas of expertise | I am a gerontologist with particular interests in health and social care policies on ageing and the relationship between social justice and care. Recent research has included significant events in older people’s lives, care at the end of life, housing-related support for older people and policies on unpaid and family care. I am currently the PI on a project in the New Dynamics of Ageing programme, funded by the UK research councils entitled ‘Maintaining Dignity in Later Life: Older People’s Experiences of Supportive Care’. |
