Plant biology

We tackle fundamental questions such as how to sustainably produce more food crops, animal feed, plant fibre and bioenergy from the same or less land. We examine how species interactions, particularly at microbial levels, contribute to the resilience of such communities in an increasingly unpredictable environment.
