Reference management: Introducing Mendeley

24 April 2024, 1.00 PM - 24 April 2024, 2.00 PM

Room 1.05, 30-32 Tyndall's Park Road, Bristol BS8 1PY

Mendeley is a reference management software package that lets you gather and organise references, then cite them in various word processors whilst automatically creating a bibliography.

This introductory workshop gets you up to speed with populating your Mendeley library with relevant references in a variety of ways, and provides experience in citing references in Word.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:

  • import references to Mendeley
  • manually enter references
  • install and use the browser plugin to import article PDFs
  • search your Mendeley library for specific references and organise them with groups
  • cite and edit references in MS Word.

This session will take place in person, in Room 1.05, 30-32 Tyndall's Park Road, Bristol BS8 1PY.
