Celebrating Rebecca Scott’s MBE
31 December 2021
We are thrilled that our colleague Rebecca Scott – Employability and Opportunities Manager – was recognised with an MBE award in the Queen's New Year's Honours list for her for her work in supporting disadvantaged communities in Bristol.
For more than 15 years Rebecca has worked with individuals and their families to support them in accessing a range of education and employment opportunities with a particular focus on the many disparities in the areas of disability and race.
Rebecca’s achievements include developing a University-wide apprenticeship programme to help connect under-represented groups. She is also the Voluntary Director for Autism Independence, a Bristol-based charitable organisation that works to transform the lives of children with autism, working closely with migrant communities.
