The way you access HR administrative and advisory support is changing.

HR Administrators and advisers provide administration and support for all managers and employees and will be organised into two Employee Services hubs based at Augustine’s Courtyard from 29^th January 2018. 

Hub A - Team Leader: Sharon Faulkner

Supports staff and managers in Professional Services, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law and Faculty of Arts.

Hub B - Team Leader: Jodie Hooper

Supports the Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Biomedical Science and Faculty of Engineering 

Hubs will be contactable via dedicated email addresses which will be made available in February.

For more information about the changes and how they will affect you, particularly if you are a manager, then do attend one of our upcoming drop-in sessions:

• 18 January, 1 – 2 pm, 3.21 Berry Room, Physics
• 22 January, 11 – 12 pm, 1.6 Queen’s Building
• 25 January, 9:30 – 10:30 am, LR1, Arts Complex

Advisers and administrators in each hub will help you with:

• Producing employment contracts and terms and conditions
• Absence management
• Visa and entitlement to work
• Workplace assessments
• Maternity and paternity

What other support is available to me?

HR Managers and Officers can be contacted in the same way as before and will help you with:

• Organisational change
• Liaison with trade unions
• Occupational health
• Flexible working
• Writing job descriptions
• Workforce planning
