How to apply for a Higher Education Academy fellowship

The Higher Education Academy is a national body that works to raise the profile and standard of teaching in Higher Education.

Individuals can have their teaching skills and experience acknowledged in the form of HEA fellowships.

This can be achieved via specific accredited programmes, such as the Faculty's Teaching and Learning for Healthcare Professionals or the University's continuing professional development scheme for academics, CREATE (Cultivating Research and Teaching Excellence).

In addition to the standard routes through CREATE, it is also possible to follow an 'experienced route' to fellowship, senior or principle fellowship.

Many individuals in the Faculty have followed each of these routes, so if you'd like to discuss options or people's experiences, please get in touch chse-admin@bristol.ac.uk.
