Thinking Futures, the Festival of Social Sciences

The University of Bristol's Festival of Social Sciences

Thinking Futures is the University of Bristol's annual Festival of Social Sciences. It is an opportunity to share and celebrate our Faculty's research and to see how the social sciences connect to communities around Bristol and beyond.

Thinking Futures is part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science, an annual celebration of the social sciences and a key element of the Economic and Social Research Council's commitment to promote awareness of UK social science research to new audiences.

When does it take place?

During November we run a series of events that give an insight into the positive benefits of research in people's lives, and offer you the opportunity to find out more about the University of Bristol's social science research.

Who can attend?

As well as the University of Bristol's own students and staff, the festival is also open to the general public in Bristol and beyond, including schools and colleges, policy-makers, local businesses and third sector organisations.
