On Thursday, 2rd January, at 4pm, Professor Jean-Michel Rabaté will give a lecture entitled 'Jacques Derrida: The Question of Literature and Modernism'.
 
The lecture will be held in the recently-opened Humanities Lecture Theatre, B.H.05, 11 Woodland Road, and will be followed by a wine reception. All are welcome to attend. 
 
Professor Rabaté is Research Professor in the Department of English at Bristol and Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the University of Pennsylvania. Author or editor of more than 40 books on modernism, psychoanalysis, philosophy, and literature, Professor Rabaté is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Recent publications include the monograph Rust (2018) and the collection After Derrida (2018)
