National curriculum review update

Report of the Expert Panel on the National Curriculum Review
The Expert Panel's report on the National Curriculum Review has resulted in The Secretary of State deferring the introduction of a new curriculum for one year.  There will be an extended period for consultation.

The Expert Panel have raised issues about the aims, structure, content and assessment of the school curriculum. These are intended to create new opportunities for teachers to exercise their professional judgement, and to support pupil learning.
