Researchers from the School of Chemistry win Vice-Chancellor's Impact Award
1 December 2017
Congratulations to Wuge Briscoe and former MSc student Lizzie Mould who have won the Vice-Chancellor’s Impact Award for Business & Economy this year.
The Award was presented at the University of Bristol Enterprise Reception on 23rd November and is based on a collaboration with a local company called Snow Business (based in Stroud) who, together with Wuge and Lizzie, have developed new formulations to create artifical falling snowflakes for use in film and other media businesses. These new formulations are eco-friendly and have reduced costs by a factor of ten; Lizzie Mould was employed for a time by Snow Business and now works for Infineum.
