Giant Iguana skeleton

This is the skeleton of a Green Iguana, prepared at the University of Bristol Department of Anatomy. Green Iguanas commonly grow to five feet in length and are placid herbivores. Lizards are now commonly kept as pets and bred by enthusiasts around the country, thus increasing the value of these specimens in teaching the future generation of vets.
