UK research master’s scholarship available for sustainable decentralised energy systems project

Royal Fort House and gardens

9 May 2022

Thanks to a generous donation to the Cabot Institute for the Environment Master's by Research in Global Environmental Challenges, a scholarship is available which will cover tuition fees for a full time UK student on the project ‘Advancing sustainable decentralised energy systems: an exploration of entrepreneurial business models and enabling technologies.’

Working alongside Cabot experts Dr Hadi Abulrub and Professor Chris McMahon, you will have the opportunity to explore innovative and collaborative solutions to energy systems - a key component to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As part of your research project you will also collaborate with partners such as the Bristol Green Capital Partnership and the Schumacher Institute, both of which are helping Bristol’s own efforts to become a truly sustainable city.

As part of the unique MScR in Global Environmental Challenges, you will also receive a range of training designed to enhance your research skills and provide real-world skills when you graduate, with topics such as public engagement, communication and interdisciplinarity.
