Drawing in the Glasshouses with Sheena Vallely and Pupgroup

University of Bristol Botanic Garden - Wednesday mornings February 1st until April 5th 11.00am -1.00pm

Taking us from winter into spring, this 10 week drawing course is designed to stimulate your senses of nature and to build confidence in your drawing potential from a diverse botanical collection. Each morning you will experience an ever changing variety of form, smell and colour from a range of climates and you will be given exercises to question and improve your observation and to develop your drawing skills. Regular input from Sheena and frequent chats within the group are aimed to support your progress and experience of drawing. On completing the course you will feel equipped to draw more objectively and discover how drawing can enhance your appreciation of nature. For all drawing abilities and particularly for those with a seed of curiosity for experiencing a unique environment with a small group of like-minded people (see Comments).
