Foreword from the Subject Editor
It’s been an honour to review and present work from a wonderful range of student authors this year, who come from both from within and outside of medicine. Our editorial board has thoroughly enjoyed the variety and standard of work, ranging from biochemistry, physiology and immunology, through to several papers discussing topics that impact on mental health, wellbeing and ethical issues in different ways. It’s great to see interest and more light shone on this subject area. I’d like to thank the rest of my editorial board, who, despite never having met each other, pulled together so well as a team, alongside conducting their own studies. We’ve learned a lot and had a great time putting this fantastic wealth of work together and really hope you enjoy reading it.
