Bristol career insights: Beijing focus

Join your fellow alumni for a career expert panel and networking reception in Beijing on Monday 16 April 2018 from 7:30 pm.

Neil Coles, Assistant Director of Careers Service, will host a panel of University of Bristol alumni experts, speaking about how to make the most of your career. There will be plenty of time for you to put your questions to our panel of experts from a variety of industries and professions. Our panellists have well-established careers in China so do come and meet them and learn from their expertise and experience since leaving Bristol. You’ll be able to gain insights and make connections that could help you secure your graduate career or take the next step up.

  • Stephen Fang (MSc Communication Systems and Signal Processing 2007), Studio Manager, Gameloft - panel chair
  • Wei He (LLM 2003), Partner at King & Wood Mallesons
  • Rui Gao (MSc East Asian Development and the Global Economy 2013), Marketing Manager, European Union Chamber of Commerce
  • Yinghzi ‘Carol’ Yao (MSc Economics, Accounting and Finance 2013), Associate Researcher, International Institute of Green Finance

President's Reception

Following the panel event, you will have the opportunity to meet more members of the China alumni network and its distinguished guests. You can reconnect with old friends and take this chance to meet other alumni who can widen your professional circle in a relaxed environment over food and drinks.

We are delighted to announce that our guest speaker for the evening is Dr Holly Snape (PhD East Asian Studies 2016).
