The City of Bristol

In recent years, Bristol has been named one of the best cities in the UK as well as one of the safest and happiest places to live. Bristol’s convenient location makes it easy to access the rest of the country, and in two hours or less, you can be in London, Cornwall, Wales, and countless other places. It also offers a mix of country, city, and nearby coast so no matter what you prefer, you can find it in Bristol. Some of the highlights include Banksy’s Street art, the international balloon fiesta, floating harbour, Clifton Suspension Bridge and the Glastonbury festival.   The city is well connected by rail and road—beautiful and historic Bath is only minutes away and central London is less than 2 hours by train.  Bristol is a vibrant city with a strong economy based around technology, creative, aerospace and engineering industries.  It has plentiful shopping, parks, theatres, sport and leisure facilities together with many cafes, bars and music venues.
