The University HPC facilities BlueCrystal 4 and BluePebble operate on a 'free at the point of use' basis, where a fair share policy determines how quickly jobs submitted to the HPC system will run.

If you are submitting a grant which will require HPC please ensure you indicate that High Performance Computing (or High Throughput Computing) access will be required, in the Risk Assessment section of your worktribe application.

If you know that your research project will need a significant amount of dedicated HPC resource please contact the ACRC facilitator to discuss this. These additional costs should be added under the 'Research Facilities' section of worktribe.
