If you've enjoyed living in our residences during your first year at University you could return to a residence for your second year too. This applies to all students planning to return to study at Bristol for a full year, including those who have suspended their studies.
Which residences are available and how much do they cost?
All undergraduate residences except The Hawthorns, Orchard Heights, The Courtrooms, Hillside Woodside, 97 Woodland Road, St Michael's Hill, St Michael's Park and 121 Redland Road are available. There are a variety of room types available in both catered and self-catered residences. Unfortunately we can't always guarantee you will be able to remain in the same residence or room from year to year. Rents for 2019/20 are not yet available, but will be published on our accommodation fees page from 1 May 2019.
How to apply
Applications for returner accommodation for the 2019/20 academic year are now closed. Please note that spaces in returner accommodation are very limited and you are not guaranteed a returner offer of accommodation. Students with a health need will be given priority.
Round 2 applications for returner accommodation open on 1 May 2019.
What happens next?
If we are able to make you an offer of returner accommodation in round 1 of applications, you will receive an email on 21 January 2019 with details of the offer. To accept your offer you will need to pay a £500 reservation fee. Full details of how to do this will be in your offer email.
International students currently undertaking a foundation program are guaranteed an offer of returner accommodation if you apply in the first round of applications.
